Tettnang, Schlosskirche

Neubau mit Wechselschleifen | II/12 | 2011 | Opus 997

The Martin-Luther congregation has drawn up plans for an organ in the Neues Schloss in Tettnang. In order to meet both the liturgical and concert demands of building an organ within the restricted space available, it was decided to use a Wechselscheife or alternative-slider arrangement, whereby individual stops are available on more than one manual. All the manual stops, apart from the Prinzipal, Oktave and Mixtur stand on such chests and are thus playable from both Manual I and Manual II. In addition, the Gedecktflöte has a triple draw allowing it to be played on both manuals simultaneously. The various combination possibilites are thus much enhanced.
